Richard Laidlaw joined Chemtrans in November 2004. He has worked within the transport industry for 29 years holding senior positions at Brambles, BHP Transport and Australia Post. Mr Laidlaw has extensive experience across all facets of the transport sector including international experience with BHP Transport in the Asian region.

Karl Cope joined the company in April 2006. He has over 14 years experience in all aspects of financial and business management and business consulting, having held the positions of CFO and National Manager with an Australian publicly listed company and Business Consulting Group Manager with an international accounting firm. Mr Cope is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has completed a Master of Business Administration at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
